I Dare You!

I Dare you! It's crazy how much trouble these three words can get you into. Then again, its crazy how liberating these three words can be. I Dare you can be powerful. It can be scary, it can be laughed off as a joke, or all of the above. One thing it cannot be is taken out of context. You can't tell someone I Dare you and they have no idea what you mean or are asking. When you say THOSE three words people know exactly what it is that you're getting at.

How many times in your life have you ever urged a friend to do something with the words I Dare You? You usually change your tone of voice when throwing this challenge down, if it be a high pitch excited squeal or a condescending, doubtful tone. Either way when these three words are uttered the receiving party knows they've been challenged. And everyone knows it's near impossible to walk away from a challenge. Then, for the rest of the day "I should have taken the dare" is on repeat like a bad Lady Gaga song. My DARE to you, Carpe Diem! Don't waste you're time doing something you hate, because then you have less time to do the things you love.
